ABOUT CLEAN GREEN
Medical Cannabis patients now have the benefit of an independent, third party Certification that the Cannabis was grown, processed, handled, stored, transported, packaged, labeled and distributed using Standards and Procedures that comply with national and international Guidelines for organic and sustainable farming.
As an advisor, with over 40 years experience in agriculture, and a USDA "Organic" Certifier, Chris Van Hook, founded the CLEAN GREEN Certification Program.
CLEAN GREEN is an alternative to the USDA's exclusion of medical Cannabis growers from participating in the USDA "Organic" Certification Program.
As a licensed California attorney, Chris follows procedures to ensure confidentiality of information provided to the purpose of Certification.
CERTIFICATION INCLUDES BOTH THE GROWER AND DISTRIBUTOR
Like the USDA "Organic" Certification Program, CLEAN GREEN Certification includes both the Growers and the Collectives/Cooperatives/Dispensaries that distribute products labeled "CLEAN GREEN Certified".
CLEAN GREEN CERTIFICATION COMPLIANCE
Certification Compliance is maintained through on site visits and the annual Certification renewal.
CLEAN GREEN CERTIFIED LOGO: AUTHORIZED USE AND PROTECTION
Certified Growers are authorized to use the CLEAN GREEN Certified logo on product labeling.
Protection of the authorized use of the CLEAN GREEN logo is supported by the record keeping requirements for Certified Growers and the Cooperatives/Collectives/Dispensaries that are Certified to distribute CLEAN GREEN products.
